“Colleagues that feel like friends are what I look forward to and what help me bring my whole self to work. There hasn’t been one team I’ve been on where I haven’t felt warmly welcomed and included off the bat. The culture at Vericast has an emphasis on embracing differences and by proxy, curiosity. When one has the opportunity to judge, I’ve always found instead that those at Vericast lean in and ask questions to find the common ground.”

“As individuals we are all unique and we are different from each other, sometimes in a small, sometimes in a big way. Here at Vericast we celebrate our uniquenesses and embrace our differences which allows us to come together as an even stronger team. As an immigrant I am glad that I can bring my entire background to work and I love working with people of completely different backgrounds and learning about their experiences. I love that we have a number of very diverse ERGs and I do my best to participate in as many ERG events as possible, sometimes as an ally, other times as someone who identifies with the objective of the ERG. I like that the company invites everybody to bring their authentic self to work and the existence of so many different ERGs is testimony to that.”

“Inclusion to me is feeling welcomed and respected for your thoughts, ideas and who you are as a human being. I wanted to get more involved with our Women+ Committee after participating in their mentor program which was a great experience. In my very first committee meeting, I felt accepted and that my ideas were appreciated and valued. Being a part of a group that invites all individuals to be themselves and share ideas on how to create more job satisfaction in what we do every day, is one of the things I love most about this company. This team truly knows how to listen and engage with each other, foster an environment of creativity, learning and respect, and considers the needs of others both personally and professionally when putting together the various events for the company.”

“Inclusion to me means that I should make everyone feel welcome and treat everyone with respect. Inclusion will mean different things based on the situation. At work, include others in decision making, asking and acting on their opinions and ideas whenever possible, help others feel important and give them voice.”

Client Solutions & Service

“My favorite ERG event has been the Women+ Community Committee’s Happy Helpers for the Homeless. I’ve organized it for the last 2 years and this past year, we brought their Director in for a lunch & learn with Vericast.  These volunteers work tirelessly 24/7 (holidays included) to ensure that the homeless in our area are fed and clothed.  High School students are also able to earn their volunteer hours towards graduation.  Participating in making food, lunch and breakfast baskets/boxes honestly brings me a lot of joy. It’s a blessing to be a blessing to someone else.  On our last visit I was surprised with their Happy Helpers Luminary award for Service.   What an honor!”

“Participation in diverse events from our Employee Resource Groups are encouraged by management and cover a decent array of topics. I LOVE drag queen bingo during Pride month, but some of my favorites ERG experiences have been Trivia with humble prizes awarded – What can I say? I’m competitive. I am comfortable at work because I am judged and recognized by the quality of my work and job performance, and not for being a gay Latino immigrant.”
