Vericast has a long-standing history of supporting the communities in which we work, live and play. For more than 30 years, we have developed close relationships with the United Way foundation. During this time, we have contributed millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours in support of our communities.
Every year, we run our Heart of the Community – Supporting United Way campaign. This is a time where we create awareness around what the United Way does for local communities, provide volunteer opportunities, host our largely successful golf tournament, and friendly competitions to raise funds. The dedication and giving hearts of our team members never fails to astonish.
Vericast is committed to environmental sustainability and ensuring its team members, facilities, and processes “go green.” Vericast is certified to the ISO 14001:2015 International Standard, the globally recognized Environmental Management System (EMS). This certification acts as the foundation for Vericast to manage environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner to improve corporate sustainability.
Our enterprise recycles nearly 100,000,000 lbs. of waste materials annually. Team members are also utilizing the EMS for continuous improvement projects to reduce waste generation, optimize reuse, and ensure we limit our environmental impact. With this certification, Vericast plans to implement an EMS at our 43 largest locations across Valassis, QuickPivot, and RetailMeNot.
